Transformers Movie: Have You Seen It Yet?
I grew up in the 80’s, so naturally I was a big Transformers fan. I watched the TV show every time it was on and had all the toys too!
I even went to see the original Transformers Movie back in 1986. That was the cartoon version, but you know what? I cried when Optimus Prime was taken out in the beginning of the movie.
So, fast forward 21 years.
Michael Bay decides he wants to come out with a new and improved Transformers Movie. However, he doesn’t want to make another cartoon. He wanted to make it as realistic as possible.
So when I saw the coming attractions, I wasn’t all that impressed. I wanted to see it, but didn’t think it would come even close to the original cartoon Transformers Movie.
Boy was I wrong. I went to see it on July 3rd and the parts that I got to see were incredible! I made it up to the point where Optimus Prime shows up in the movie, but then my pregnant fiance started having contractions really close together and we had to leave to go to the hospital. What nerve she has interrupting my movie!! LOL
Go figure right? I’m in the middle of a movie that I originally thought was going to be just OK, and here I am at the edge of my seat because it already exceeding my expectations.
Do you know how angry I was that I had to leave in the middle of the movie to go to the hospital? I mean, my second child could have been born that night, but he wasn’t.
So I was even more pissed off. Hahahahaha
Anyways, I was so determined to see the rest of the movie that I went back the next night on the 4th of July and saw it again from beginning to end.
It was probably one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while and I couldn’t believe just how good it really was. The story came together perfectly, there wasn’t no dull moments at all throughout the movie or fluff scenes to fill up empty space. It was great from beginning to end.
It was even funny too.
And that girl Megan Fox is absolutely gorgeous!!!
So, without giving any of it away, I hope you can feel my enthusiasm for the new version of the Transformers Movie and will go see it as soon as you can. It will be well worth your time.
